About Fukasa-Ryu Jujutsu

In Fukasa-Ryu Jujutsu, or “System of Depth Gentle art of war,” you are taught the old methods of the Samurai. Historically, the Samurai would employ Jujutsu to disarm another swordsman when his own weapon was disarmed or disabled. Along with the striking methods of Kempo, Jujutsu is applicable in many situations.
In modern times, Jujutsu is still an effective means of self-defense. After the Jujutsu practioner strikes his or her attacker to incapacitate the assailant, a variety of hip throws, leg sweeps, joint locks and/or ground grappling techniques are applied, finishing a potentially dangerous situation quickly and efficiently.
